Step By Step Eyebrow Tutorial

Eyebrows are the fur of the face that many people have yet to master. The key of eyebrows is that the hair color and thickness matches with your face shape and correlates with your hair color. Unfortunately, not everyone is graced with perfect natural eyebrows, thus we shade them in. This tutorial will show you how to prep, prime, and create the perfect brows. Let’s begin!

First, you must find out what your correct brow shape is. Your shape depends on the shape of your face and eyes. The peak of your brow should be vertical to the middle of your pupil. The brow should start where your tear ducts begin.

The products used in this are tweezers, a short angled brush, a razor, matching matte eye shadow, a highlight, possibly scissors or brow gel. A brow pencil was also used in this tutorial, but isn’t mandatory for every one. All of the maintenance products are from Sally’s Beauty Supply. You should go for a matte shadow or it wouldn’t be natural.

To begin, tweeze any stray hairs that don’t correlate with your natural shape or the shape that matches your face. Using a brow razor after will get those minuscule hairs that you can’t see. If your brows are really thick, brush the hairs upward with a spoolie and trim them with scissors.

Underlining the brow with pencil on the bottom will create an outline of where to shade and make it look more precise. Take the angled brush and start lightly shading in the brow.

If you make a mistake, then just take concealer after and blend it out. Go slowly at first so you don’t put too much on and keep checking if you need to make it longer.

I like to do my eyebrows before I apply eye shadow because it sets the construction of the face.
