VMA’s, known as Video Music Awards, aired last night and left many of us with our jaws dropped. To overview, Lady Gaga opened the show with her newest song and was actually pretty good. She sang it live and danced which is better than 90% of the stars these days. Afterwards was Miley Cyrus singing her new song and then accompanied Robin Thicke. Wow. If you were to recap anything from that show, watch Miley’s moves. She is definitely putting her brand out there that she isn’t Hannah Montana anymore. Nevertheless, after several hundred camera shots of Taylor Swift and the Smith family, Justin Timberlake was given the Video Vanguard award and blew everyone’s minds with a 20 minute performance of all of his hits over the last few decades and a reunion with NSYNC. Although, they only sang a few songs, it was better than having the silly boy bands they have now perform even one song. Ending the show was Katy Perry who lip-synced to her new song and jumped around in a tiny sports bra. All in all, a decent way to spend 2 and a half hours. Before the show, they aired the red carpet. The best and worst dressers were all there posing for the bright cameras. Let’s begin!
Selena Gomez in Atelier Versace.
Miley Cyrus in vintage Dolce & Gabbana. Pre-performance though! During her performance everything went south and well, you will have to see for yourself:
Taylor Swift in Herve Leger.
Jennifer Hudson in Christian Dior.
Ellie Goulding looked absolutely gorgeous and this dress is amazing!
Ciara in Givenchy Couture.
Alicia Quarles in this amazing cropped top and pencil skirt combo.
Robin Thicke & Paula Patton.
Now, for the worst:
Riff Raff, just why?
Lil Kim’s jumpsuit was so tight it literally looked like it was painted on.
I thought Willow & Jaden Smith were usually fashionable, what happened?
